Our Alumnae chapter has the unique opportunity to connect sisters across state lines, and support multiple collegiate chapters including UNCC, Winthrop University, Queens University, and Wingate University. The board members are directly responsible for scheduling monthly alumnae chapter events, fundraising for Make-A-Wish foundation, and providing guidance and support to local Fraternity business. The Charlotte Alumnae chapter of Chi Omega is proud to help sisters reconnect, provide service, guidance to collegiate actives, and networking across the region from Lake Norman, North Carolina to Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Samantha Starling, A.H. (President)
Samantha has been re-elected President. Samantha has a long history of service to Chi Omega at the local level. She is a founding sister of the Theta Lambda Chapter of Wingate University where she graduated with a B.S. in Business and a B.A. in Communications. " With three brothers, Chi Omega gave me the Sisters I never knew I wanted." In addition to being a founding sister as a collegiate, she served as the Career Development Chair. Samantha continues to serve as a chapter Social Advisor for Theta Lambda. She actively participates in the Senior Ceremonies for most of our local collegiate chapters, sometimes all on the same evening! Professionally, Samantha is a Marketing and Sales Coordinator and resides in Charlotte, NC. Her contributions to the Charlotte Alumnae chapter have resulted in considerable growth and increased outreach, and the chapter has received national recognition.
Wendy Jo Van Essendelft, A.T.B (Vice President)
Wendy is an initiate of the Theta Lambda Chapter at Wingate University, where she graduated with a BA in Sociology. �Chi Omega has given me so many opportunities that I would have never had if I didn�t join. I didn�t know anything about sororities when I started out, so it was a big leap of faith, but this has been one of the best decisions I have made so far in my life.� Serving as her chapter G.N.V (Treasurer) for 2 years, she continues her three year service to her collegiate chapter Theta Lambda as Financial Advisor. Professionally, Wendy is a Family Relations Representative for Novant Health and resides in Monroe, NC.
Rebecca McPhail, A.K.A. (Secretary)
Rebecca McPhail is an initiate of the Xi Lambda Chapter of Washington & Lee University, where she graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration. Professionally, Rebecca is the Senior Project Manager for a brand consulting firm in Charlotte emphasizing the healthcare division. �My best friends from college are all Chi Omegas. My sisters in Chi Omega were the best part of my college experience. I love that we are still as close as we were in college even though we don�t get to see each other often.� Rebecca is also a member of the Junior League of Charlotte, and resides in Charlotte, N.C.
Manisa Capling, A.N.V. (Treasurer)
Manisa has previously served the Charlotte Chi Omega Alumnae Chapter as A.M. (Membership Director). Manisa is an initiate of the Beta Theta Chapter of the University of South Alabama, where she graduated in Accounting. "We all come from different backgrounds and life experiences, but we all are bonded by our sisterhood. It was never more evident to me than when I attended Convention in June 2010." Professionally, Manisa is a Portfolio Valuation Analyst for Wells Fargo, is a Certified Public Accountant, and member of the CFA NC Society. She loves spending time in the NC Mountains (West Jefferson) with her husband, Phil. The Capling family includes three children: Philip, Lauren, and Callie. Manisa enjoys kayaking, hiking, traveling and girls� nights out with her daughters, and resides in Charlotte, NC.

Jessica Alford, A.M. (Membership Director)
Jessica is an initiate of the Chi Lambda Chapter at Winthrop University. Jessica completed her undergraduate degree at Athens State University with a B.S. in Computer Info Systems and is currently working on her MBA at Winthrop University. �I can�t imagine the person I would be with Chi Omega. It truly has made me who I am today and everyone who has been in my life knows how much of a positive impact it has had on my life.� Jessica previously served the Charlotte Chi Omega Alumnae chapter as the IT Director. Professionally, Jessica is the Asst. Director for Business Operations/Technology for Department of Residence Life at Winthrop University. Jessica�s loves to spend her free time crafting or with my dogs and husband, and currently resides in Rock Hill, SC.

Ronda Chism Brooks, A.P.H Director (Alumnae Panhellenic Director)
Ronda Chism Brooks is an initiate of the Iota Kappa Chapter of Troy University, where she graduated with a BS in both Psychology and Sociology She is currently serving on the board as the Panhellenic Director. " Chi Omega kept me grounded during college, offering challenges and experiences that taught me life lessons. I am a better person today because of that. I couldn�t be more proud to still be involved with such an incredible organization." Professionally, Ronda is a Senior Account Manager for the American Red Cross calling on hospitals in the Carolinas that use Red Cross blood products. She also serves as the President of the North Carolina Association of Blood Bankers (NCABB).
Marty Nass, A.R.I. Director (Area Recruitment Information Director)
Mary Nass is an initiate of the Omicron Delta Chapter at Carnegie Mellon University, where she graduated with a B.S. in Vocational Home Economics Education. Marty has a long history of service to Chi Omega, working long hours during membership recruitment season to support collegiate chapters and the future of Chi Omega. Her daughter Molly, an initiate of the Theta Gamma chapter of Queens University is following in her footsteps.

Sarah Safran, New Member Director
Sarah is an initiate of the Alpha Kappa Chapter of North Carolina State University, where she graduated in Communication with concentration in Public Relations. In addition to serving on the board, she is a Panhellenic advisor to Queens University. As a collegian, served as new member educator and sat on various Chi Omega chapter committees. " The words of our Symphony create a lasting bond of shared beliefs and values between women across the globe. I have enjoyed my friendships with women from different schools, different generations, and different cultures- sisterhood in Chi Omega truly is for a lifetime!" Professionally, Sarah is a Marketing Analyst, LEED Green Associate, a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and United Way Young Leaders. Sarah is engaged to be married and currently resides in Charlotte, NC. Her sister is a collegiate member of Rho Zeta chapter at East Carolina, and her aunt is an initiate of the Epsilon Beta chapter of UNC-Chapel Hill.

Jaimee is an initiate of the Psi Kappa Chapter of University of Clemson University.
Charlotte Pitts, Marketing Director
Charlotte Pitts is an initiate of the Zeta Gamma Chapter of the College of Charleston. She is currently serving on the board at the Marketing Director. An inspiration, Charlotte is artistic, and enjoys training for, working with, and doing triathlons. She is a resident of Rock Hill, SC.
Corrine Spain, Collegiate Relations Director
Corrine is a an initiate of the Alpha Kappa Chapter of North Carolina State University, where she graduated with a Bachelors in Communications. She is currently serving on the board as the Collegiate Relations Director. Her previous service to Chi Omega includes serving as G.N.V and Recruitment - Preference Party Chair for three years. "Simply put, my sisters in Chi Omega and our six principles have shaped who I am today. I couldn’t be more proud to be part of such a great sisterhood!" Professionally, Corrine is a Traffic Coordinator and Media Specialist with Luquire George Andrews.
Dara Ruggiero Rickles, IT Director
Dara is an initiate of the Alpha Beta Chapter of Auburn University, where she graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. She is currently serving on the board as the Information Technology Director. "My sisters in Chi Omega gave me inspiration and the stability of a family in college. As my life has stabilized and work continues to challenge and drive my professional growth, I look to my sisters to add excitement and enrichment to the balance of my life." Professionally, Dara works as an engineer for General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products.
